<collection_method>Oral history interview method. Interviewee identified via her public written contributions to the field of male victims of rape and sexual assault. I emailed Mezey who agreed to be interviewed. Mezey remained a busy psychiatric researcher and practitioner, meaning that the time she was available for interview was short and her preference was to meet via Zoom. This interview was part of my postdoctoral project on male and HIV positive survivors of rape in Britain, which took place as part of the Sexual Harms and Medical Encounters (SHaME) project, funded by the Wellcome Trust.</collection_method>
